Chief of Police

As the Police Chief of Fayetteville, it is both an honor and a privilege to serve this wonderful community. Nestled in the heart of Brown County, Fayetteville is not just a village; it's a vibrant community enriched by the spirit of its residents, the charm of its small-town atmosphere, and the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Fayetteville boasts a rich history, founded in 1818, and has grown to be a cherished home for approximately 330 residents. Our village is characterized by friendly neighbors, local businesses, and a strong sense of community. We pride ourselves on our commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all who call Fayetteville home.

The area surrounding Fayetteville is abundant with opportunities for recreation and exploration. With numerous parks, including the picturesque Fayetteville Park, residents can enjoy the walking trail, sports fields, and leisurely family outings. Our close proximity to major state routes allows for easy access to the greater Cincinnati area, where residents can explore additional cultural attractions, dining options, and entertainment venues.

As your Police Chief, I am dedicated to fostering strong relationships between the Fayetteville Police Department and the community we serve. Our officers are committed to ensuring safety and security while building trust through transparency and engagement. We encourage open communication and invite you to reach out with any questions, concerns, or suggestions. Your feedback is invaluable as we work to enhance the quality of life in Fayetteville.

Together, we can continue to foster a community that reflects our values of safety, kindness, and unity. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

Warm regards,

James Lee
